E2 worked in collaboration with Carnell Green Architects and Dylan Haughton on the refurbishment and extension of French State Lycee School in South Kensington. The project included four new build classrooms on the roof of the existing school, a new common room, shower and changing facilities and the refurbishment of the science department. The design used traditional materials such as standing seam zinc roofing combined with modern structural systems for speed and high performance. Heat recovery systems provide ventilation for the new classrooms.
